Last summer, Bournemouth Tourism had a call from the BBC stating that they were going to shoot a Blue Peter episode on Bournemouth Beach.
Their goal was to show kids the amount of pollution and plastic on our beaches and seas, and this is a growing problem.
I was asked to photograph as a stills photographer and also make sure they had everything they needed to make the shoot as easy as possible.
After a few hours of shooting, I was asked to help out with the light on set (they knew I have a background in Film-Making).
It was such a fantastic feeling standing alongside such professionals and for a good cause too.
The episode of Blue Peter big beach clean in Bournemouth was aired on CBBC (and seen on iPlayer) on 30th August at 5.30pm.
