Exploring Malta in the Mediterranean sea

Finally, a holiday booked, and what a place it was! Malta was absolutely stunning. I learned so much in a few days, regarding its history, the landscape, the architecture and also saw the famous movie locations too!

Having booked a tour guide he actually told us that he was an assistant director (and Extra) on Game of Thrones. He not only worked on this fantastic series he also worked on many more fantastic movies and series in Malta. We visited Mdina (former capital) which is like a maze! It feels literally as if you were stepping back in time… Then entering Valletta, with its incredible bespoke architecture, churches, famous balconies and roads going up and down really made an impression.

Visiting Gozo was extraordinary, the place had so many hidden treasures (in terms of beauty spots), such as valleys, caves, salt pans, shapely cliffs and incredible rock formations! It was a real treat seeing this island, I didn’t want to leave…
