A glimpse of Mordor

My first visit to Cheddar Gorge, a place that does spark my imagination seeing such a majestic piece of nature.

This was taken last year during the summer. It wasn’t the photo I had in mind, I strived for a capture that would be higher up looking down towards the road, seeing more of the light trails. But I didn’t dare to climb this high with heavy gear on my back.

I have always wanted to see this as the lines are so dramatic, to me, it really looks like the edges of mountains. Dark and eerie mountains. Yet this lone tree was still standing tall.
