Blackchurch Rock – the Eye is watching

Blackchurch Rock – the Eye is watching

The Eye is watching. An real epic adventure, stumbling for ages in a dark forest, climbing over slippery rocks to reach this amazing structure, made by mother nature. Blackchurch Rock is truly magnificent but very difficult to shoot, especially with the waves coming in strong.

There was one moment Neil Harrison shouted at me to move, which I did just in time as a wave crashed into my legs. It gave me an adrenaline rush. I planned to shoot the rock further back, to include more of the rocks and textures in the foreground. But the water was just too close.

I will return to this alien land.
